Major incident declared, Plymouth
Police have declared a major incident in Plymouth after a suspect WW2 ordnance was discovered in a garden.
Officers were called just after 10.30am today to a property in St Michael Avenue.
A 200m cordon has been put in place and officers are speaking to residents and assisting with the evacuation of properties within that cordon.
The Royal Navy EOD are currently at the scene.
People are advised to avoid the area where possible.
