UPDATE | Murder investigation continues following woman’s death, Kingsteignton
Detectives are continuing their investigation following the death of a woman in Kingsteignton.
We were called to a report of a concern for welfare for a woman at an address in Hollam Way, Kingsteignton, at around 9.50am on Saturday 27 June.
Officers and paramedics attended, and a woman in her 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Her next of kin have been informed.
A 50-year-old man from the Kingsteignton area has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
Members of the public will continue to see a heightened police presence in the area as enquiries are ongoing.
