Appeal after road rage incident, Plymouth
Officers are appealing for information and dashcam footage after a couple were threatened by a man with a knife during a road rage incident in Plymouth.
The incident happened on Tavistock Road around 4.20pm on 14 November last year and involved a black VW Golf and a red van.
A man and a woman in the Golf attempted to join Tavistock Road from Budshead Road but were blocked when the van deliberately accelerated.
After they managed to merge into traffic, the van driver tried to cause a collision before becoming verbally abusive.
All parties were then involved in a confrontation out of their vehicles in the middle of the road by McDonald’s restaurant.
The van driver produced a knife and made threats before getting back into his vehicle and making off. No-one was injured but the victims were left shaken by the incident.
Officers are investigating and asking for any witnesses or anyone who may have captured the incident on dashcam to contact them.
