Truro Police are inviting the public to Green Room Café, Hall for Cornwall from 10am - 12pm and 1pm - 2pm on Wednesday 24th January. In addition, Perranporth Neighbourhood Team are inviting the public to their pop-up event in The Miners & Mechanics Community Centre in St Agnes from 10am – 12pm.

These pop-up events are an opportunity for local people to meet with members of the neighbourhood policing team and share any concerns they have. PCs and PCSOs from Truro, Tregony and The Roseland will be there to answer any queries, give advice and provide reassurance.

These public meetings form part of Neighbourhood Policing Week which began on 22nd January, a national event recognising the work that Neighbourhood Policing Teams across the country do every day to actively protect their communities from criminal activity.

Deborah Sleeman, PCSO in Truro, said: ‘As a PCSO serving Truro, Perranporth and Tregony it is great to meet with members of the community at our pop-up events to provide advice and reassurance. It is important for us to work alongside our communities to discuss local issues and keep our communities safe.’

Whilst both the community meetings in Truro and St Agnes fall as part of Neighbourhood Policing Week, members of the policing team are always there to discuss local issues and concerns.
