Appeal following burglaries in West Cornwall

Detectives are investigating reports of multiple burglaries in West Cornwall which are believed to be linked.

Officers have received seven reports of incidents which are believed to have taken place between Thursday 3 and Monday 7 April and the times are unconfirmed.

It’s believed that entry has been forced to residential properties, which have been searched and items including cash have been taken.

  • Three incidents Camborne – Weeth Road, Meadow Drive and Holman Avenue
  • Two incident in Redruth – The Paddock
  • Two incidents in Newquay – Penhallow Road and Well Way

The reported circumstances of the burglaries are very similar, and we do believe that they may be linked.

Investigating officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the above locations, have any dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell footage which may assist us, to please get in touch.
