Serious injury collision near St Buryan

Officers are seeking witnesses following a collision near St Buryan which left a cyclist seriously injured.

Police were called to Treen, on the B3315 near St Buryan at around 1.40pm on Sunday 27 October, to reports of a collision involving a camper van and a cyclist.

The cyclist, a man in his 50s from Penzance, suffered serious injuries and was flown to Derriford hospital by Air Ambulance.

The road was closed for five hours to allow officers to carry out investigations.

Officers investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision would like to thank members of public that stopped to help at the scene and ask that anyone who may have dashcam footage or information that could assist investigations to please contact them online or by calling 101, quoting log 480 of 27/10/24.
