Homophobic and racial abuse, Penzance

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an incident of homophobic and racial abuse in Penzance.

The incident took place at around 12pm on Saturday 24 August in the B&M store car park in Eastern Green, Penzance.

It was reported that a woman was driving towards the exit when a vehicle in front suddenly stopped without warning and started reversing.

The driver had to reverse to avoid a collision and believes she may have shaken her head or gestured with her hands.

The male suspect then shouted homophobic and racist abuse in the face of the woman.

The incident is believed to have been witnessed by two females.
