Two men injured in serious collision, A38 Drumbridges

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A38 near Newton Abbot which left two men injured, one seriously.

Emergency services were called around 6pm on Sunday 2 June after the collision involving a green Austin Healey on the northbound carriageway at Drumbridges.

Two local men in their 70s were injured and taken to Derriford Hospital. The passenger sustained serious injuries and the driver received minor injuries.

The A38 was closed for around four hours while an investigation was carried out at the scene. Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience during the closure.

They are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and would like to hear from any witnesses or any motorist with relevant dashcam footage.
