Serious collision, A38, near Plympton
We are investigating a serious road traffic collision on the A38 near Plympton and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Officers were notified of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A38, Plympton, on the approach to Marsh Mills at around 5.30pm on Wednesday 16 September.
The collision involved a white and blue Suzuki motorcycle and a white Mini Cooper.
As a result of the collision, the motorcycle rider, an 18-year-old local man, sustained injuries which are not thought to be life threatening or life changing. His family have been informed.
The driver of the car was uninjured and remained at the scene to assist officers with enquiries.
The road was closed for around an hour whilst the casualty was cared for by paramedics and roads policing and local officers conducted an initial investigation.
