Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision, Cornwall

A motorcyclist remains in a critical condition in hospital following a collision at Castle an Dinas in Cornwall on Tuesday 4 August.

Emergency services were called at around 7.10pm following the incident on the B3274 involving an orange Royal Enfield motorcycle with a sidecar.

Ambulance and fire crews also attended the scene.

The rider, a man in his 60s from St Austell, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The B3274 was closed until around 10pm while officers investigated the scene.

They are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch. Information can be submitted via the Force website or by calling 101, quoting log number 813 of 4 August.
