Serious injury collision, near Newquay
Officers investigating a road traffic collision near Newquay on Monday 12 May are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Emergency services were called to a single vehicle collision on an unclassified road between St Newlyn East and Mitchell involving a silver Ford Fusion at around 12.10am on Monday.
As a result of the collision, a male passenger, aged 20, was taken to Derriford Hospital in a serious condition. His next of kin are aware.
The driver, an 18-year-old man, and two female passengers also aged 18, were taken to Treliske Hospital for treatment for less serious injuries.
Police, fire, and ambulance services all attended the incident.
Officers from the Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team carried out a detailed investigation of the scene.
