APPEAL | Serious collision near Chiverton Cross, Cornwall

We are appealing to hear from any witnesses to a two-vehicle collision which occurred on the A390 near Chiverton Cross, towards Truro.

Police were called at around 1.45pm on Tuesday 18 November to reports of a collision involving a yellow Fiat Panda and a black Nissan Qashqai.

As a result of the collision, the drivers of both vehicles, a man in his 80s and a woman in her 70s, sustained significant injuries. They were both taken to hospital where they remain.

The road was closed for approximately four hours to allow a thorough examination of the scene and for recovery of the vehicles.
