Appeal following serious sexual assault in Plymouth
We are appealing for witnesses and relevant footage following a serious sexual assault in Plymouth.
Police were called shortly after 4am this morning, Saturday 10 January, following a report of a woman having been sexually assaulted in the Mutley Plain area of the city.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5ft 6-8ins tall, with blondish hair.
Enquiries are ongoing to locate him.
The victim is being supported by specially trained officers.
We are carrying out door to door enquiries in the area, and a scene guard is currently in place on Furzehill Road.
Residents can expect to see an increased police presence today and this evening.
We are asking anybody in the area who noticed anything suspicious, or who may have relevant home footage to get in touch via 101 or our website quoting log 116 of 10 January.
