Serious road traffic collision, Torquay

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following a road traffic collision in Torquay.

The collision took place on the Newton Road junction with Woodland Road at around 3pm on Wednesday 24 July and involved a Lexmoto motorcycle and a Peugeot 108.

As a result of the collision, a motorcyclist, a 17-year-old local male, sustained a serious injury and was taken to hospital.

The road was closed to allow investigation work to be completed and The Roads Policing Team would like to thank road users for their patience whilst the investigation was carried out.
