APPEAL | Road rage assault, Plymouth

We are appealing for witnesses and footage following a road rage incident in Plymouth.

The incident took place around Marsh Mills Roundabout between 6.20pm and 6.25pm on Thursday 18 September.

It was reported that following a disagreement about driving standards, a suspect intentionally hit the victim’s vehicle’s door with his.

The victim then followed the suspect and parked next to him. Both victim and suspect the exited their vehicles and the suspect then struck the victim to the face.

It was further reported that other motorcyclists present also joined in the altercation.

The victim suffered cuts and bruising to his face.

Following the assault, the suspect is said to have stolen the victim’s dash-cam and left the scene.

The suspect is described as being a white male, with dark hair and stubble and driving a white Ford Focus ST-Line Vignale.

The victim was driving a silver BMW.

Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could help with their enquiries.

They would also be keen to hear from anyone who may have captured the incident on dashcam.
