Assault, Truro

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious assault in Truro.

The incident took place in Townsend Street on Tuesday 13 August at around 1.40am.

It was reported that a woman heard people outside her address smashing up garden furniture, and when she went out to ask them to stop she was punched and kicked numerous times by three people.

As a result of the attack the victim suffered a fractured eye.

A 22-year-old man from Truro and a 17-year-old girl from Truro were arrested on suspicion of causing GBH with intent.

A 37-year-old woman from Truro was arrested on suspicion of GBH. All three have been released on police bail.
