Van driver sought after hit-and-run collision near Boscastle

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a hit-and-run collision in north Cornwall which left a young moped rider injured.

Officers were called at 9.10pm on Tuesday 25 July after a collision between a van and a moped on the B3266 between Boscastle and Camelford, near to the junction with Trevalga Road.

The moped rider, a teenage girl, sustained injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital.

The other vehicle, believed to be a green box-style van, left the scene of the incident.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and seeking the van driver.

They are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. Officers are particularly keen to hear from any driver who may have captured the incident on dashcam.
