Circumstances investigated after injured man found in Paignton
Detectives are investigating the circumstances that led to a man becoming injured in Paignton on Saturday 22 April and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Officers were called after a man was found with serious head injuries on Roundham Road, Paignton, at approximately 3.30am, on Saturday 22 April.
Ambulance attended the scene and took him to hospital, where his injuries were described as life changing.
The injured man is described as a 60-year-old, black male, of large build, 6ft 2in tall and he was wearing a cream jacket.
He may have visited a number of pubs in Paignton on the Friday night, into the early hours of Saturday morning.
