Appeal after man presented at hospital in Cornwall with serious injuries

Detectives are appealing to the public for information after a man was presented at a hospital in Cornwall with serious head and facial injuries.

We were made aware after a man in his 30s was taken to West Cornwall Hospital in Penzance shortly after 10pm on Wednesday 22 April.

It is suspected that the man had been assaulted.

He has since been taken to Derriford with potentially life-threatening injuries.

He was taken to the hospital by two unknown persons who have not yet been identified.

Numerous enquiries are underway – including CCTV – to determine the circumstances surrounding the victim’s injuries.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from the two members of the public who took the injured party to hospital, or from anybody who may be able to identify them.
