Witness sought following Plymouth assault

0631.25 Serious assault, Plymouth PIC.jpg

We are seeking to speak to the man pictured as he may be able to assist us as part of an ongoing investigation into a violent assault in Plymouth.

The individual shown in the images is thought to be witness to a serious assault where a man was hit over the head several times and stabbed twice.

The incident is believed to have taken place on Queens Road between 10pm and midnight on Sunday 20 July.

We have carried out numerous enquiries and are utilising these images obtained from a local doorbell camera of a witness walking along the road around the time of the incident.

We appreciate that these images are very low quality but hope someone may recognise themselves or have information to lead to an identification.

A 29-year-old man from Plympton was arrested on suspicion of assault ABH and has been released on police bail.
