Further appeal following knifepoint robberies in Plymouth

Police are appealing for information following three reports of knifepoint robbery which occurred last week.

The incidents occurred at Betfred in Plymstock on Wednesday 11, Neswick Stores in Stonehouse on Friday 13 and Co-op on Salisbury Road, St Judes on Sunday 15 October.

Detectives are currently treating these incidents as linked and have arrested two men, aged 39 and 40, in connection to the investigation.

Detective Sergeant Ben Ferguson said: “We are continuing to appeal for information in connection to the incidents which were reported to us last week.

“Today we have released an image of two potential witnesses that we would like to identify and speak to, as they may have information which could assist us. I would stress that we wish to speak to them purely as witnesses, they are not believed to be linked to any offences.”

DS Ferguson added: “In all three incidents, a man has entered a premises brandishing a knife whilst making threats to staff. They left with cash from the till.

Two men in Plymouth have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and remain in custody at this time.”

We are keen to hear from anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the areas mentioned in this appeal.
