APPEAL | Assault, Port Eliot

We are appealing for witnesses and footage following an assault at The Wild Gardens Festival in Port Eliot.

The incident took place between 3pm and 4pm on Saturday 19 July at the male toilet block.

It was reported that a man was punched multiple times by a topless male suspect, causing serious head and facial injuries which required hospital treatment.

The suspect – a man in his 30s from Plymouth – was detained by security before being arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on officers’ arrival. He has been released on police bail.

Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have relevant footage.
