Serious injury collision, Mount Ambrose

Police investigating a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle, on the A393 at Mount Ambrose, are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Officers were called to reports of a collision at around 8.40am on Wednesday 28 June.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Treliske Hospital by ambulance.

The driver and front seat passenger of the car were also taken to hospital for treatment.

Police closed the road to conduct an examination of the scene and secure evidence.

Officers would like to thank the members of public who were patient and considerate whilst this investigation took place.

The scene was handed over to highways at around 12.55pm.
