APPEAL | Road traffic collision near Helston
We are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following a road traffic collision in Gweek near Helston.
Officers were called at around 5.30pm on Tuesday 20 May following a report of a two-vehicle collision involving a blue Suzuki motorcycle and a white Mitsubishi Colt car on an unclassified road in Gweek.
As a result of the collision, the rider of the motorcycle, a local man in his 50s, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted from the scene.
The driver of the car is assisting officers with their enquiries.
The road was closed for approximately four hours to allow a thorough examination of the scene and for recovery of the vehicles.
