Officers investigating a suspected arson attack in which two cars were destroyed in Camborne have issued an image of a male they would like to identify.

We are continuing to appeal for information over the incident which happened in St Meriadoc Road at around 3.30am on Thursday 20 November 2025.

Police were called to the scene by the fire service which tackled the blaze.

A man aged in his 50s has previously been arrested on suspicion of arson and released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Officers would now like to find and speak to the person pictured – who is yet to be identified – as they may have information which could help the investigation.

Police Constable Emily Wood said: “Our investigation is continuing into this incident and we are specifically looking to identify the male pictured as part of these enquiries.

“We recognise the image is not of the best quality, but would urge anyone who may recognise this individual – or who may have seen someone of this appearance in the area at the time of the incident – to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police via our website or by calling 101 quoting reference 50250298224.
