Serious injury collision, Tiverton
We are investigating a serious road traffic collision in Tiverton on Wednesday 11 February and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Officers were notified of the collision, which involved a white Hyundai Tucson and a pedestrian on Bampton Street just before 1pm.
The pedestrian, a 74-year-old local woman, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital.
The road was closed and officers would like to thank the public for their patience while an examination of the scene took place. It was reopened around 9.30pm.
