Serious assault, Plymouth

Officers investigating an assault in Plymouth are appealing to the public for witnesses and information.

The incident took place outside Drake Circus in Charles Street at around 4.45am today, Sunday 30 March.

It was reported that a man was set upon by two males and kicked to the head several times, rendering him unconscious.

The victim was taken to hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment for serious injuries.

A man aged 18 from Launceston and a man aged 19, also from Launceston, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. They remain in police custody at this time.
