APPEAL | Three-vehicle collision in Looe

A man has died and a woman injured following a collision in Looe.

Emergency services were called shortly before 10.30am on Friday 12 June to a three-vehicle road traffic collision which had occurred on the A387 at East Looe, near to St.Martins Road, Cornwall.

The collision involved a blue Volvo V70, a Toyota Estima and a Kia Rio.

Sadly, the Volvo driver; an 81-year-old man from the Looe area, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin were informed.

A woman who had been traveling in the Toyota was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Police, Fire and Ambulances attended the location. The road was closed for a number of hours whilst police conducted an investigation of the scene.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information, or dash can footage to contact Devon and Cornwall police by telephone or email quoting log number 200 of the 12th June 2026.
