Sexual assault in St Austell

Police investigating a report of sexual assault in St Austell have issued an appeal to find two potential witnesses who may have seen the incident.

Officers are trying to locate the driver and passenger of a red Vauxhall Corsa that was parked at the top of Alexandra Road between 3.30pm and 4pm on Saturday 13 January.

It was reported that a woman aged in her 20s was touched inappropriately by a male suspect in the area during this time.
