UPDATE | Driver named after fatal collision near South Molton
The driver of a car who died in a fatal collision near South Molton on Monday 12 May has been named.
Connor Hobbs, 22, from South Molton, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the two-vehicle collision involving a black Honda Civic car and a brown Scania HGV, which happened at around 2.55pm on an unclassified road at Kingsland Barton, South Molton.
The family of Connor have paid tribute to him.
They said: “The family and friends of Connor Hobbs are devastated by his tragic death on Monday 12 May in the collision, a week short of his 23rd birthday.
“We are grateful for the loving comments and pictures that have been shared of our lovely boy who held family and friends dear to his heart.
“We would politely request that we are now left alone to grieve and process the events of his death.”
Officers continue to make enquiries to establish the circumstances of the collision.
