UPDATE: Man charged with rape following alleged incident in Plymouth
A man has been charged with rape following an alleged incident in Plymouth last weekend.
Luke Braund, aged 22, from Duloe Gardens, Plymouth, has been charged with rape.
He has been remanded in custody after appearing at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court this morning, Saturday 17 January.
Police were called shortly after 4am on Saturday 10 January, following a report of a woman having been sexually assaulted in the Mutley Plain area of the city.
Officers attended and a cordon was put in place.
The victim continues to be supported by specially trained officers.
