Assault, Plymouth

We are investigating a report of assault in Plymouth on Friday 21 March, and we are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

It was reported that a man was approached by another man on North Hill, Plymouth, between the junctions with Deptford Place and Bedford Park Villas, soon after 2pm, and was punched, causing him to fall to the ground, where he was further assaulted.

The victim sustained minor injuries in the altercation but did not require hospital treatment.

It is believed that the two men are known to each other.
