Serious injury collision, Falmouth

We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision which occurred on Penmere Hill, Falmouth.

Officers were called at around 11.15pm on Monday 24 August to reports of a collision involving a ‘Beryl’ electric scooter.

As a result of the collision, the male rider of the e-scooter, a local man in his 40s, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital for treatment.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed. It was reopened just before 6am on Tuesday 25 August.
