Family pay tribute to great-grandmother who died after crash
The family of a woman who died following a collision near Newquay have given the following tribute:
“Patricia Simmons, aged 88 and resident of Higher Fraddon, was involved in a vehicle collision on the morning of Wednesday 26th November on the A392 near Newquay. Unfortunately and sadly she succumbed to her injuries the next day. She leaves behind a husband, four children, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.”
We are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to come forward following the collision on the A392 at White Acres.
The emergency services were called at around 9.50am on Wednesday 26 November following a report of the collision involving a red Ford Fiesta and a yellow JCB tractor.
Mrs Simmons was airlifted to Derriford Hospital but sadly passed away as a result of her injuries.
