Serious injury collision, Plymouth

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a hit and run collision in Plymouth.

The collision took place at around 5.50pm on Tuesday 11 February on Mutley Plain.

It was reported that an e-bike contravened a red light and then collided with a female pedestrian.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.

The bike rider was thrown from his bike during the collision, but remounted and left the scene via Belgrave Road.

Anybody who witnessed the incident or has relevant dash-cam footage or information that may help police is asked to contact police on 101 or via our website quoting log 590 of 11 February.
