Witness appeal following road traffic collision, Redruth
We are investigating a road traffic collision near Redruth on Saturday 16 August and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team are examining the circumstances around a collision at a crossroads on the B3298 at Scorrier, near Redruth, at approximately 8.15pm on Saturday 16 August.
The collision involved a white Aprilla motorcycle and a blue Volkswagen Fox car, which left the scene.
As a result of the collision, the rider of the motorcycle, a 17-year-old male, sustained injuries that required hospital treatment, but these were not thought to be life-changing.
Following enquiries, the Volkswagen was located and the driver identified.
Officers are looking to speak with any members of the public who may have witnessed the collision, may have dashcam or mobile phone footage.
