Shaldon drugs warrant executed and man arrested

Police have executed a warrant and seized suspected Class A drugs as part of a recent operation in Shaldon, South Devon.

Officers visited a residential property in Clifford Close and seized what is believed to be a quantity of cocaine with an estimated street value of £11,000.

A quantity of cash was also seized, along with other paraphernalia believed to be linked to drugs.

A local man, aged 30, was arrested following the warrant and has since been released on bail, pending further investigations.

Detective Sergeant Jason Parsons, from South Devon CID, is leading the investigation. He said: “Preventing drugs from reaching the streets of South Devon is always a positive result and one of our main policing priorities.  

“We would like to thank the local community for their support as we tackle this issue and appreciate the vital information and intelligence that the public pass to us.”

Officers from the local Neighbourhood Policing Team took part in the operation on the morning of Monday 11 May.
