Appeal after unprovoked assault in Plymouth pub

Officers are appealing for the public’s help to identify this man in connection with an unprovoked assault on two people at a Plymouth pub.

The incident happened at Rust & Royal on Plymouth Barbican on 6 September.

Staff members were moving heavy music equipment through the pub and asked customers to clear a path.

One man refused to move and became aggressive before punching two members of staff. Both sustained injuries.

Officers investigating the assault have released images of a man they would like to identify as he may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises him or has any information to help with the investigation is asked to contact police online or telephone 101, quoting crime reference 50250233055.
