UPDATE | Serious assault in Plymouth

Detectives are continuing to investigate a serious assault which occurred on Curtis Street, Plymouth.

Police were called at around 10.20am on Sunday 3 May to reports that a man had sustained serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains – his injuries are not being treated as life-threatening.

Two men and two women, who were arrested in connection to the incident, have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

A third woman has been released with no further action being taken.

Officers are continuing to investigate the incident and are appealing for information.
