We received a report of a serious road traffic collision involving a three-wheeler Invictus trike, a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a VW Golf car, soon after 2pm on Sunday 27 July on the A358 between Boshill Cross and Musbury.

The ambulance service and police attended the scene.

Despite the best efforts of everyone, the rider, a woman in her 70s from the Taunton area, sadly died at the scene.

The road was closed for several hours whilst the investigation took place and reopened soon after 7pm.
