Appeal following collision on M5, Exeter

Officers are appealing to speak to witnesses following a collision on the M5 at Exeter.

The collision, which involved a motorbike and two cars, occurred at 8.13am on Thursday 23 April on the northbound carriageway between junctions 31 and 30.

The bike rider, a man in his 20s, sustained serious, potentially life-changing injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The M5 was closed at junction 31 whilst the scene was examined by specialist forensic collision investigators.

Police are appealing for any witnesses that have not already been spoken that have information or dash-cam footage, to contact police by calling 101 or via our website, quoting the log 129 23/04/26.
