Serious injury collision, Torpoint
We are investigating a road traffic collision in Torpoint at the weekend which left a woman seriously injured.
Officers were called at around 10.35am on Saturday 22 November, to a report of a road traffic collision on Harvey Street, at the junction with Quarry Street, Torpoint, involving a white Fiat Abarth 595 and an elderly female pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a local woman in her 80s, was taken to hospital by ambulance, where her injuries have been described as life changing.
The road remained closed whilst collision investigation work was carried out. It was reopened around 4.15pm.
