Family pay tribute to “deeply loved” motorcyclist following collision near South Molton
The family of a 28-year-old motorcyclist who lost his life following a collision near South Molton have paid tribute to a young man who was deeply loved by those close to him.
Kieran James Lerwill, from Bishops Nympton, sadly died following a two-vehicle collision on the B3227 at Nadder Lane, near South Molton.
Officers were called at around 4.55pm on Sunday 4 October to the collision involving Kieran’s blue BMW S1000 motorbike and a green John Deere tractor.
Kieran’s family have now paid tribute to him.
They said: “Kieran was a gentle loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, partner and friend.
“He is deeply loved and his loss has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.
“Words cannot express the sadness and despair we are feeling.
“We ask that our family’s privacy and space to grieve be respected at this incredibly difficult time.”
Specialist and local officers attended the scene and conducted an initial investigation and the road was closed for several hours whilst the investigation took place.
