Appeal following three-vehicle collision in Plymouth

We are appealing for witnesses and footage following a serious road traffic collision in Plymouth.

Officers were called at approximately 11.25am on Monday 20 April to a collision on Longbridge Road at the junction of the Leigham Interchange Roundabout.

This collision is believed to have involved two cars and a motorbike.

The motorbike rider in his 70s was taken by land ambulance to Derriford Hospital with a serious lower limb injury. Next of kin have been informed.

The road was partially closed whilst an investigation was carried out at the scene.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team and Plymouth Patrol would like to thank the public for their patience during the resulting traffic congestion.
