Appeal following serious injury collision in Redruth

Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following a serious road traffic collision on the A3047 in Redruth.

We were informed of the collision which had taken place on the A3047 at the junction with Cardrew Way at around 11.35am on Wednesday 27 May.

The collision involved a heavy goods lorry and a pedal cyclist, and resulted in the cyclist being airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

The road remained closed for a period of time while officers from the Roads Policing Team conducted an investigation, and the team would like to thank the public for their patience during this time.
