Serious assault in Bideford - request for witnesses
Police are investigating a serious assault that occurred in Bideford, at around 3.15pm today. Officers were called to the incident shortly after it happened, close to the junction of Manteo Way and Old Barnstaple Road. The victim stated that she had been attacked from behind, receiving an injury to her arm.
She described the attacker as male, taller than 5ft 8ins, wearing a hoody, jeans, black trainers, black baseball cap and a black face mask.
The suspect is still outstanding and Detectives are appealing to anyone who either witnessed the incident, has any dashcam footage or saw anyone matching the suspect's description to contact police on 101 or via the website, quoting log 551 of 25th April 2023.
