We are appealing for information following the theft of an electric bicycle in Plymouth.

The silver Raleigh Array [the same model and colour as the bike pictured] was stolen from Basket Ope on The Barbican on Tuesday 15 July.

The owner of the bike reported hearing an alarm going off outside of his property, and when he went out to check he saw an unknown male riding off on the bike.

The suspect is described as a white male, with long dark hair, 6ft in height, 35-40 years-old, of sturdy build and wearing black shorts and a black polo t-shirt with white writing on the back.

Footage shows the suspect riding the bike from Basket Ope, onto Vauxhall Street at around 6.20pm, then turning right towards the Three Crowns area.

Anybody with information or footage, or who has seen or even offered the bike for sale, is asked to contact us on 101 or via our website quoting 50250182264
