Appeal following collision between car and van in Exeter

We are appealing for witnesses after a car collided with another vehicle in Exeter and failed to stop at the scene.

Officers were called to Pennsylvania Road yesterday, Monday 31 August at around 12.50pm, after damage was caused to the front nearside of a van.

The incident took place on the junction of Wreford Lane. The car, which was being driven by a young man, is described as being a small dark coloured hatchback, possibly blue. The registration is believed to begin with WJ58.

Officers are asking any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
