Serious injury collision, Rame

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious road traffic collision on A394 at Rame near Helston.

Officers were called at around 12.05pm on Thursday 22 February to Rame Cross, outside the Halfway House public house. It was reported that a collision had occurred involving a red Suzuki Alto and a white Peugeot Boxer van.

The 34-year-old male driver of the Suzuki sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. The van driver sustained non-life threatening/changing injuries and was treated at a local hospital.

An investigation was carried out at the scene and the road reopened at 2:15am. Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst this took place.
