Assault, Plymouth

Police investigating a report of assault in Plymouth are appealing for a van driver who may have witnessed it to come forward.

It was reported that a 17-year-old boy sustained head injuries which required hospital treatment in the incident, which took place at around 6.10pm on Thursday 7 November, on Clittaford Road, Plymouth.

It is understood that a white van drove past at the time of the incident and the driver of the vehicle sounded the horn, at which point the suspect left the scene.

Officers are appealing for the van driver to come forward as they believe they witnessed the incident and may be able to help with enquiries.
